bright cherry pop

I went to a formal dance hosted by my college at my university the other day. It's an annual formal planned by the social chair on the student council I'm on, and it's always a great night out. I even helped plan it when I was in my second year, so it was rather bittersweet knowing this was my last party of its kind. The theme was Skyfall themed which was AWESOME, considering I am a very big James Bond fan (not a Daniel Craig as James Bond fan though, and fully willing to argue this issue out).
I really wanted a red dress because I've never worn red to a party before, so I was super happy to get this one, although I wouldn't say I am 100% a fan. The whole baby doll shape isn't my cup of tea and I don't think it's that flattering, but that's what you get folks, when you buy dresses online. I'm still sold on the lace, the tulle, and the bright cherry pop of colour . .  . plus, it made for some great twirling.

PS. A Get Ready With Me video for this outfit is coming up on Monday!

Wearing a Modcloth dress, Silks tights, Nine West heels, unknown clutch, Swarovski necklace and earrings, pearl ring is mom's, gold ring is mom's, woman ring is mom's (1920s vintage).

You look ravishing in red! All the teeny tiny details really add a lot of yourself into this dress. I love personalized style. :)

Sounds like a great time & you picked a perfect dress for dancing!
