good things happen when it snows

I used to stand in the cold and take outfit photos until I couldn't feel my fingers, but lately I've been too drawn to the warmth of my house to venture out and take photos in the cold. Walking to the bus stop to get to university is enough of a venture. Anyhow, Toronto had a snow storm today and I couldn't resist taking some photos (despite the cold). I only lasted about ten minutes outside, although I must admit that I would have stayed out longer if I hadn't been fearful that my camera would be soaking from all the snow. These photos aren't my best, but there was just so much snow and my eyes were watering (non-waterproof eyeliner was a mistake).

I love snow days. I love how the world looks covered in a layer of fresh snow. There is something so peaceful and gentle while the snow falls softly. I've always liked to believe that "good things happen when it snows" and I like to think that every big snowfall has born some sort of significance upon my life.

Your outfit rocks! I always love seeing unexpected prints & textures mixed - you certainly didn't disappoint. :)

There is something very magical about a snow day. I don't know if you're familiar with the Nickelodeon movie "Snow Day", but there is a quote in it that says, "Anything can happen on a snow day" and I believe that through & through.
