I was talking to one of my professors today before class started because I really liked her deep red coat. I remarked to her that I liked that she had colourful outerwear considering that all of mine is black, meaning that sometimes I'm literally wearing all black if my clothes underneath my coat are also black. We ended up discussing vintage shopping in Toronto, which was quite awesome, but my little story there relates strictly with my all black outfit. I've been really liking all black combinations which is surprising since I'm normally thirsting for colour, but lately my black clothes draw me closer. So the other day when I went to class I decided to add a giant pop of colour, thus, enter blazer. It's been lurking in my closet for years but after reorganizing my closet back in September, I've somehow stayed away from wearing it. I'm glad it's back though.
I like to joke around and say that the brightness of my hair makes up for a lack of colour in my clothing, but in all honesty, it doesn't. I need my colour! Justin Timberlake might bring Sexy Back but I bring Colour Back!
