icicles on rooftops

Wearing vintage skirt and shirt, Moda International blouse, Enzo Angiolini shoes, Hue tights, mom's necklace.

When I first started blogging I remember writing a post discussing my inability to mix patterns. Well, 3 years later, I stand before you going crazy with pattern mixing. Pattern mixing definitely adds a quirky spark to an outfit. My favourite part about this outfit is the blouse and top mixed together. I was gifted this blouse a few years ago, and I hadn't worn it in ages, but I felt that wearing a completely sheer top to school wouldn't be the best idea, so I paired it with this vintage sleeveless shirt. The combination makes me think of fluffy snow and icicles hanging off of rooftops. Pretty imagery.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm slowly making my way through my piles of homework, but I can't complain because reading Dangerous Liaisons is time well spent.

I didn't even notice you were wearing two shirts together. Good match!
I adore this quirky pattern mixing. It certainly makes for an interesting outfit! As I see it, it's better to be interesting than to be boring. :)
