Outfit post as promised!
Today was a good day. It was one of those days when you wake up and everything just happens to go the way you want it to. Everything I did just went right, especially the whole outfit choosing thing. Some days I spend incredibly way too long choosing what to wear, but today I just pulled out the first things I saw and put them on. Surprisingly they worked perfectly well.
Oh, to have good days all the time.

Ps. I'll feature my new lipstick in my next post.

Happy weekend to all!

Tristan skirt. Vintage vest and belt. La Vie en Rose shirt. Gifted jewelry. Leather boots. Unknown tights.

life's a blur

It's been really hard to take outfit photos the past couple weeks due to school and the cold weather, but I promise that an outfit post is coming in the next couple days, especially since I want to show off my brand new lipstick (most amazing colour ever).
Anyways, here are a collection of photos from the past couple weeks that have been taken randomly.

A study break taken by roaming our favourite downtown street.
Photos of me by a friend, the rest by me.

Wearing a United Colour of Benetton coat, Gap jeans, unknown scarf, Enzo Angiolini shoes, Badgley Mischka bag.

Cupcakes I made for a Candyland party.

This outfit is basically my go-to outfit, except I was feeling creative so I threw on the belt, normally there would be no belt. Some days I just don't want to be creative at all, and the best thing to do is put on a blouse and a skirt, and head out the door. Although I did try to make these photos a tad more interesting to make up for the simplicity of the outfit. *Photos were taken using a mirror.*

What's your go-to outfit?

Holt Renfrew blouse, Tommy Hilfiger skirt, unknown belt.

white, grey, black

Time to head back to university. Holidays are over and it's book time.
This blouse was made by my mom ages ago. It's honestly the most delightful blouse. I feel so pretty and girly when I wear it, and the double collar is genius. The ballerina pin that I have pinned at my neck was a gift from my aunt when I was about four years old, I think.
I'm pretty sure there was much more that I wanted to write about this outfit, but six hours of class, and and hour of intense Zumba later, I'm much too exhausted to remember.
Anyways, hope you all had a nice start to the week!

Wearing American Apparel skirt, tights from Winners, Capezio boots, unknown leather gloves, Holt Renfrew beret, United Colors of Benetton coat and a blouse made by my mother.

Even though I'm still sick I couldn't bare sitting inside the whole day so I decided to have a little mini-photoshoot outside. Plaid, fur and leather is definitely an excellent combination (especially when you're trying to keep warm). The flask is just for the photographs because whenever I think of flasks (especially vintage ones) I think of being somewhere incredibly cold, like Moscow, clad in furs, sitting beside a fire, having a warm cup of tea with some sort of liquor in it. Rather weird I guess, but inspiration comes in all shapes and forms.

just a quick hello

Hello my lovelies,

Just a quick hello to say that no outfit posts due to me being sick. Yes, I know, not the best way to start off the New Year. Anyways, expect an outfit post very very soon. In the meanwhile, I'd like to show you two new tumblr's I've made.
My true tumblr, where I reblog my heart out, and post my own photos once in a while is HERE.
(Feel free to follow and let me know if you have one, I'll follow back).

My two new Tumblr's are projects that I started when 2011 started:

Hope you check them out, and see you all soon with an outfit post.

winter kickstart

Welcome to a new year everyone!
Hope everyone is having a good start to the year! Can't believe we're already a second day into the year. Woah. No outfit post today because I'm stuck inside sick. Not the best way to start the year.
I've always found that winter never truly starts until we hit January, so I haven't really thought about winter appropriate clothing, besides the really thick puffy coat. I've been browsing some old Russian Vogue and Paris Vogue editorials and have fallen in love with the thick knit sweaters, tweeds, scarves and fur coats.
