American Apparel dress. Nine West boots. Gloves and vest made by my mom. Unknown tights. Holt Renfrew beret. Gifted jewelry.

This outfit post is part of another post that will come tomorrow, which will be "where I wore my outfit (even though I never took my coat off)". It's going to be an awesome post, so make sure you check back tomorrow!

Anyways, this vest is an incredibly beautiful article of clothing, especially because my mom made it herself (same with the gloves). I love the pinecone design, particularly since we have so many bushes around us that have these prickly brown wonders of nature on them.
I bought the dress 2 years ago at an American Apparel rummage sale where I waited 9 hours in line with my friend. I can't say the 9 hours was worth it, but it was definitely an experience. Besides, this dress isn't that bad either. Definitely a lovely layering piece that will last me well into the winter.

Hope everyone had a fantastic day! Stay tuned tomorrow for part 2 of this post!
